Van Zellers 1940 White Port is an extraordinarily rare aged white Port from the Douro Valley, shaped by decades of oxidative aging.
It presents layered aromas of dried citrus peel, toasted almond, honey, and salted caramel.
The palate is rich, silky, and nuanced, with flavours of marmalade, roasted nuts, toffee, and gentle spice, balanced by bright acidity.
The finish is long, complex, and beautifully poised.
