This interesting and complex cool-climate Petite Sirah tastes more like its relative Syrah than usual—and it contains almost 10% Syrah.

The aromas recall black pepper, roast beef and ripe blackberries.
Tannins are firm but not massive, giving the texture a sense of layering and finesse.
Excellent density and richness, with the black fruit staying bold and upfront on the palate.
It rounds itself nicely in the finish, staying grapey to the end.
