Introducing our Czech-born, Nova Scotia-made pilsner that’s perfect for craft beer newcomers. This crispy pils is a tribute to the GastroTurf, our original beer garden which is covered in ten thousand pounds of Astroturf. With the water in HRM closely resembling that of the Czech Republic, we’ve brewed a crisp, light-bodied pilsner that even non-craft beer enthusiasts can enjoy. Gluten: This beer is processed by our brewers to remove gluten using an enzyme called Brewers Clarex. The gluten content of the beer can vary, and the beer may contain gluten. Personal judgement should be used when determining what beer you want to try. Barley-only beers contain less gluten than wheat-containing beers because less gluten present means less gluten to reduce.
